1. How old does my child need to be, to begin playing soccer?
A child needs to be born at least in 2007.
2. When does the season begin?
The season will begin the week of May 28. The season for mini soccer ends in late August and the youth season can go until the middle of September (if they make the finals).
3. When are the games played?
For mini soccer (born 2002 to 2007) all games will be played between Monday and Thursday. The times of the games will be either 6:15PM or 7:15PM. All games are played in Sturgeon Falls. For the youth teams (born 2001 to 1994) games are played between Monday and Thursday evenings. Games will be played in North Bay and in Sturgeon Falls. The times will vary depending on the age division.
4. How many games/practices are there in a week?
Every team is guaranteed at least one game a week. The practices are set up by the volunteer coach. The club encourages coaches to have one practice a week.
5. What is included in the registration fee?
Every child will receive a complete soccer uniform (socks, shorts, and shirt) they are yours to keep. You will be required to purchase shin guards and soccer shoes. Soccer shoes are not required, a good pair of running shoes will do however the club does recommend wearing soccer shoes in case the field is wet.
6. What is the cost?
The cost for mini soccer is $95.00 and the cost for youth soccer is $110.00. Register before April 16, 2012 and receive a $15.00 discount per registration. (see home page for registration dates)
